Description

Very useful WordPress plugin to resize images before they are being uploaded. Just drag and drop big images and don’t worry about your
bandwidth or server space usage.

Everything is configured in “Settings” > “Media”.

It is using power of modern browsers to do the job – Chrome and Firefox would use HTML5 method and other browsers – Flash.
Generally it looks like Chrome is the best for the job (http://www.plupload.com/)

Installation

  1. Upload `browser-resize-images` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Addjust settings in “Settings” > “Media”

Hello.

My name is Mariusz and i am here to write and share my digital experience with you.
Most of the time i am developing sites using WordPress so hacks/scripts/plugins should be common around here.
I am also recording videos with my DSLR from time to time you might find few tips related to it as well.

I often create something and want to share it but did not really have a place to do it.
I want to make “Create Days” this kind of place.

Also, this site is going to be very experimental – i am planning to use all the latest CSS with little bit of JS to make it all interesting.
So it might be common that something is broken – get use to it:)

Anyway – USE MODERN BROWSER! Choose whatever feels best – they are all good enough:)
